Fast Track High School Diploma
or the GED Program
Advance to College!
Private, one on one, individualized instruction by our homeschool teacher service for Adult Education GED or Fast Track High School Diploma Live online via Skype by highly qualified educators!
There are many valid reasons for getting a GED or a high school diploma. In order to work and have a higher amount of pay, one needs their High School Diploma. To attend college or join the military, a High School Diploma is mandatory. We are here to help you pass that Exam and get on with your future! Some people had to drop out of high school to get jobs and help their families, while other people, such as teenagers, had to drop out due to mental or physical conditions. Others yet have acute ADD and ADHD or are slow learners....We can help all of you.
There are TWO ways to get a diploma from Aslan High School:
A.) The first is the "Fast Track High School Diploma" program.
B.) The second is the traditional "GED Home Education" program.
A.) How the Fast Track High School Diploma Works
The fast track high school diploma program is a fast track to earning a real high school diploma and transcripts from Aslan High School under the Home Education laws. Basically speaking, a person is "challenging the exam".
The exam, known as "Hi-Set" covers academics such as reading, writing, grammar, social studies, sciences, and mathematics. A student is given five different exams by a highly qualified educator, which are not timed unlike the GED Exam. Three exams are given on day one, and the final two are given on day two.
An interview with the student is then conducted to talk about their real life experiences in order to cover elective classes for the transcript. This can be office, business, life skills, work experience, job skills, arts, and many more. After the exams are graded, a mathematical formula is used from the exam scores to make a complete transcript for 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades along with electives.
After completion of the academic exams and interview, a student receives a completed and real home high school transcript as designated by each State's homeschool laws, and receives a beautiful diploma. A student is then typically able to attend a college or university. Please check with the college or university you plan to attend regarding their home education transcripts policies and/or other tests they may need to take such as SAT, ACT, or college entrance exams.
Anyone throughout the country and Puerto Rico will take the academic exams and interview live online via Skype with an Aslan educator. Please see below for minimum computer requirements for this course. To study, practice, and prepare for the Fast Track High School Diploma Exam, please contact us as we do have an exercise book available for purchase.
Aslan High School is not responsible for a student failing any of the academic exams for any reason nor for a student not being able to attend a higher education institution. If a student fails an exam (which is a C- 70% or below), they may retake it for a $50 fee, for each exam failed and it can be taken multiple times. A textbook in our online store is available for students enrolled in this program to study and practice with before the exam.
The fee for the academic exams and the electives interview is $150.00. The transcript and diploma fee is $35.00. Payment of all fee's are due at the time of the first exam ($185 total). If a student prefers a framed diploma, add $25.00 pus shipping. There are no refunds given at anytime for any reason. Most students receive their two official transcripts and diploma via USPS Two Day Priority Mail within two weeks or less after completion.
Anyone can sign up for the Fast Track High School Diploma at anytime, just contact us HERE. *Please note: only students age 20 or older are qualified for this program. B.) How the traditional GED Home Education Sessions Work
As teachers in the public and college school systems for over two decades, We have taught thousands of students. We have seen, firsthand, that some students do not always fit in well with traditional schooling systems, and, unfortunately, find it difficult to complete the journey to receive that all-important diploma. Aslan High School is a wonderful program that can help many to achieve their educational goals. One of the best aspects of this program is the personalized attention one receives. It's like having your own personal education coach encouraging, cajoling and inspiring you to greater heights!
We teach the entire curriculum with private, one on one instruction. In this way, there is less time wasted, and more focus towards your studies since you are the only student.
The new GED exam is geared towards college and is more widely accepted by colleges and employers because the exam has become more challenging. Many GED schools, private tutors and teachers still use mostly the old format and very little of the new format. Aslan High School uses only the new format. This is why there is a text book for each subject, lots of practice and 2 post tests at the end to be sure you're completely ready for the actual GED Examination. It has been stated by the U.S. Department of Education that "most people who graduate via the Adult Basic Education system for the GED are more learned and better prepared for college or technical schools than most high school graduating seniors". GED's are no longer given out, instead, a "High School Diploma" from the Department of Education are awarded.
We try to work around your schedule and time unlike GED classes and traditional High Schools. We do private, one on one instruction Live Online Education/Skype. We can prepare you for the GED examination usually within 8 to 10 months, step by step. Instead of trying to study on your own, learn by yourself, or take classes at an institution (which do not fit your working and family schedule) we can come to you and guide you to make the highest passing scores on all 4 GED subject tests. Unlike GED schools, we offer the most up to date curriculum, teach how to write an APA research paper which all colleges use, so you'll be ahead of the game and help you to succeed. Besides text books, movies, powerpoints and other materials are also used in our curriculum.
The first step is an entire GED pre-test to find your strengths and weakness. At this point, we either enroll you in a Pre-GED Program or straight to the GED Program depending upon your test scores. The second step is instruction, lessons, chapter tests, & discussions in the classical GED exam subjects which include: Language Arts Reading, Language Arts Writing (including Essay), Science, Social Studies and Mathematics. Most students attend four days per week for a total of eight hours. Each subject is taught in 2 hour increments every week. The first day of every week is two hours which includes Language Arts Reading and Writing. The second day is two hours which includes Social Studies. The third day is two hours of Science and the fourth day is two hours of Math. The days and hours can be arranged to help fit your busy daily and work schedule too.
Students may also take advantage of our College Prep Classes if they desire. We offer
Driver Education, AP World Religion, Medical Assisting, EMT, Zoology, Eastern Philosophy, Health, Wellness and Herbology, Criminal Justice, Meteorology, Psychology, Journalism, LGBT Studies, Assistant Teacher, Optometric Technician, Careers, Interior Design, and Foreign Languages courses. This will give a student a taste of college or career school classes for an extra nominal fee. Click here for further information on these extra courses.
The third step is for 2 full length post tests before you take the actual GED exam. We teach 8 hours per week (min.) and this can be divided up into different days and times of day. We will always go at your own pace - slow or quickly. If you take the exam and failed just one or a few subjects, you don't have to retake the entire GED exam. We just go over the subject(s) you missed on the exam, so that you may retake it within 2 weeks.
We look forward to helping you and serving your needs. We do not discriminate against anyone, not gender, religion, sexual orientation, race, age, past, political views or anything else you can think of! We have the enthusiasm, materials, education, passion and true desire to serve and educate.
